We are soooooooooo excited about this weekend.

I know, I'm not trying to be Braggy Mc Braggerson here, but if you knew how much we needed to go away right now, you would be HOORAYing right along with us.

Patience

Patience is a virtue for some, but it's more of a GOAL for me. And lately, I feel like it's a goal I cannot grasp. I hate to wait for "time" to fill in the gaps. The phrases "Only time will tell," and "we'll just have to wait and see," or "give it time" really make me crazy. What if I don't want to wait? What if I just want to know all the answers right now? What if I am IMPATIENT? I guess I just have to choose well on the choices that are in my hands.

Gone Wishing

We've booked a stay at a place in the San Juan Islands for Valentine's weekend. I can't wait. We're going to stay two nights this time. More snuggling. More closeness. Just what we need. We've been to this Bed and Breakfast before, and it will be so nice to go back. They've renovated it, so it's like a spa boutique hotel now. We are so excited!

The weekend

Urn and I had a WONDERFUL time this weekend in Blaine Washington. Truly it didn't matter where our hotel stay was, because we only left the room once, to gather food. I know, get a room, and . . . we did. :)

But we also stayed in our pajamas both days, and snuggled and watched movies. It was just what we needed.

This weekend

Went to see some friends' wedding venue. It is wonderful! They had an open house.

It was an wonderful night full of drinks and good food and dancing and bands playing and cupcake costumes, and sweets and aerial acts.

And, the best part is that it was all free. If this place existed when I got married, I would have gotten married there twice!
